Wolves have agreed a loan deal for Atletico Madrid and Brazil striker Matheus Cunha with a purchase commitment for around £34million.
Personal terms have been agreed with Cunha which could be involved as early as January 4 when Wolves travel to Aston Villa.
The 23-year-old will become Wolves head coach Julen Lopetegui’s first signing since he took over.
Wolves are the Premier League’s worst scorers with eight goals.
