Dejounte Murray believes the Atlanta Hawks would learn from an ugly win rather than a blowout loss. “As I preached after the game, we need to grow up,” Murray said after Atlanta’s 126-125 win over the Orlando Magic on Monday.
“Starting with me. Exactly what we play for, these kinds of games shows that we don’t play to win and get to the playoffs and try to make noise. We have to grow up. It’s okay to learn from a win, even from a loss, but you’d rather learn from a win than a loss. We got sloppy and lazy and almost lost the game.”
