Friday will see competitive all-weather action at Lingfield and Southwell with InNewCL Sports Racing, plus jockey Page Fuller will be a special guest at Get In after returning from a mid-race stroke.
3.20 Lingfield – Unforgotten, Starshiba & Lord Rapscallion clash in the feature
Unforgotten by John and Thady Gosden made a memorable return after a 659 day break when she emerged victorious over this course and distance two weeks ago.
A half brother to Dante winner Thunderous, the five-year-old had cost 150,000 gns as a yearling and was easily good enough to win an opening handicap of 86.
He’s put on 4 pounds for this win and here carries a joint top weight against seven competitors in the Spreadex Sports First Goalscorer Insurance Handicap (3.20).
David O’Meara’s Starshiba was three lengths behind Unforgotten last time out but is a doubles course and distance winner and a return to his best form would see him in the running.
Stuart Williams’ Lord Rapscallion is being asked to tackle a mile for the first time since August 2021 after finishing fourth over seven furlongs here last month.
Larado was fielded by Mick Appleby as a list-level underdog in the Tandridge Stakes earlier this month, but could now appear in calmer waters.

2.50 Lingfield – Choisya & Spring Promise contest a strong rookie event
The novice stakes of the talkSPORT Powered By Fans Fillies (2.50) could be a race to discover a star of the future when Southwell winner Choisya meets another promising Godolphin runner in Spring Promise.
The former, who shoulders a 7-pound penalty under Ross Coakley, was up there in that win last month, beating the useful copy artist over seven furlongs.
Appleby’s Spring Promise, on the other hand, showed plenty of promise when it debuted green behind Star Guest before being narrowly led by fellow stablemate Veil Of Shadows in the closing steps earlier this month at Kempton. The coach resorts to cheek pieces for the first time and Jamie Spencer takes the record.
Puntarelle showed some promise in two runs as a youth on turf last summer and is an intriguing runner in her all-weather debut for Jonathan Portman.
6.15 Southwell – Recent winners meet in handicap match
Over in Southwell, the It’s Time To Turn To TalkSPORT Handicap (6.15) features an intriguing duel between two horses on a very similar trajectory.
Both Charlie Hills’ Midnightattheoasis and Sean Woods’ Lady Nagin are joining handicap company for the first time after landing a six furlong girl at the track last month.
The former gets an opening score of 71, with Kieran Shoemark keeping the momentum after a leisurely success last time out.
Williams’ Arbaawi was a course and distance winner in December but has been a godsend since that day.
Fuller joins Get In after remarkable return
Luke Harvey and Jason Weaver are back on Friday night with the most entertaining show in racing, Get In, along with special guest Page Fuller.
The young jockey star made a welcome return to the track this week, five months after suffering a mid-race stroke.
The 27-year-old will reflect on her remarkable recovery and plans for the future.
Jockey Page Fuller was relieved to be back racing at Hereford on Wednesday, five months after suffering a stroke mid-race.
