The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 series is expected to happen in February, and while we wait, Geekbench revealed another test run of the compact Galaxy S23 ahead of its announcement.

The Samsung Galaxy SM-S911B, whose identifier corresponds to the model destined for the international market, brings with it a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and 8 GB of RAM. The phone scored 578 points in the single-core test and 2,118 points in the multi-core department.

These results are significantly lower than the previous Galaxy S23 test runs, but then again, these are probably test devices, so deviations are normal.

Samsung is expected to finally release a full Snapdragon line of Galaxy S phones this year, with all regions getting the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip in the S23. There are rumors that European units could get an overclocked version of Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, which scored an impressive 1,504 single-core and 4,580 multi-core on Geekbench.
