The Warriors were badly beaten by the Nets (113-143) for their second straight loss. It was Golden State’s seventh loss in nine games.

As the season progresses, the Dubs remain far from being an elite NBA team. The reigning champions are currently ranked 11th in the Western Conference.

Despite the difficulties, head coach Steve Kerr is confident his team can turn things around. At the same time, he admits that the error rate is getting smaller and smaller.

“Our margin for error gets smaller as the season goes on…we’ve got to make a run here at some point,” Kerr said, per Kerith Burke. “And we’re confident that we’ll be able to do that, but with that kind of start … you’re really vulnerable later on if you get another injury or something.”
