Sharon Osbourne is on the mend.
After suffering a medical emergency and then being discharged from hospital, the 70-year-old TV star has confirmed that she is home for the holidays.
“Back home and I’m fine!” she wrote on Instagram on Dec. 19 alongside a photo of her dog Elvis sitting in front of the Christmas tree. “Thank you for everything [love].”
Sharon’s former co-hosts of The Talk also sent their congratulations. “Thank God!” Carrie Ann Inaba later commented and added, “Elvis will take care of you!” Amanda Kloots wrote, “Oh thank goodness.”
Police in Santa Paula, California, told NBC News that Sharon was taken to a medical facility on the evening of December 16 for an “unspecified medical emergency.” A source familiar with the matter also noted to the outlet that the medical emergency was “not life-threatening.”
The next day, Sharon’s son with husband Ozzy Osbourne, Jack Osbourne, confirmed that she had been filming an episode of his show Night of Terror with him when the medical emergency struck and that she has since been discharged from hospital.
