Nikola Jokic scored 13 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and gave out 13 assists to help the Nuggets defeat the Grizzlies (105-91).
It was his 82nd career triple-double, the highest by any center in NBA history. The reigning two-time league MVP spoke to the Inside the NBA crew after the game.
The 27-year-old Serbian superstar received a compliment from NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, who compared him to Tim Duncan.
“He’s a big man’s Tim Duncan,” O’Neal said on TNT. “I say the way he dominates the game he is not flashy. I love this kid and how he plays.”
This season, Jokic is averaging 25.2 points, 10.9 rebounds and 9 assists in 32.9 minutes per game.
