Tyrese Haliburton scored 33 points and the Indiana Pacers took a 30-point lead in the first half before holding off the Boston Celtics 117-112 on Wednesday night. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 41 points after missing a game for personal reasons.
“Tyrese is a great player,” Pacers coach Rick Carlisle told ESPN. “There’s a lot of talk at the moment about the All-Star and who’s going to be in it and who isn’t. Tyrese Haliburton is our all-star. In less than a year he completely changed the development of our franchise.”
