The Brooklyn Nets have been on the uptrend lately. Head coach Jacque Vaughn and the Nets have gone 9-1 in their last ten games and won 12 of their last 13. Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving were the two players on the team they can always rely on to keep the offense moving and help lead the team in every game. They have Brooklyn in second place in the Atlantic Division and fourth in the Eastern Conference. An unsung hero of the Nets, he has been one of the most successful players in the league this season.
Fifth-year pro Yuta Watanabe has been a great addition to the Brooklyn Nets this season. He averages no more than (15.1) minutes per game, but he shines when the light is at its brightest. Watanabe has been a big part of the Nets’ six-game winning streak they’re currently in and he’s delivered in the clutch. The coaching staff and himself have built a level of confidence that they feel comfortable playing against him in some of the biggest moments of the season.
NBA betting sites have the nets at (+1400) to win the finals this season.
It was incredible how calm Yuta Watanabe was at these points. This is the 3rd win he’s made multiple clutch plays late in the 4th.

Yuta Watanabe was a clutch for the Brooklyn Nets this season
Watanabe has been in every game he has played in since his return on 10/12. Part of the Nets’ final line-up after injury. Surprisingly, the 28-year-old Japanese is third behind Durant and Irving in the fourth quarter of a minute. He also leads the NBA in fourth-quarter three-pointers by a wide margin. His three-point quota for fourth is an excellent 68.4 percent this season. Next up is Damion Lee, who shoots 56.8 percent.
He hit a clutch three-pointer against the Raptors Friday night that put Brooklyn ahead with just 14.1 seconds left in the game. Watanabe followed with another clutch performance of three on Sunday against the Pistons. His dedication and drive to win are key factors in his success with Brooklyn this year. For the season, Watanabe is shooting a blistering 53 percent from deep this season. Unless you’re a Nets fan, you might not even know who he is, but Watanabe was invaluable to the Nets earlier this season.
