She originally deleted all of her Instagram posts from MGK and shared a cryptic Beyoncé lyric about “dishonesty” from her 2016 song “Pray You Catch Me.” And to top it off, Megan only followed three celebrities — Eminem, Harry Styles, and Timothée Chalamet – before deactivating her account all together.
Fans automatically assumed there was trouble in paradise, with one user commenting, “He probably hooked up with Sophie,” to which Megan shot back before exiting the app, “Maybe I hooked up with Sophie.”
Sophie herself has since slammed the rumors.
“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been unnecessarily dragged into the media following baseless allegations on social media,” her management team told Page Six on Feb. 15. “Any indication that she ever acted unprofessionally or walked out of their relationship is untrue.”
E! News has reached out to Sophie’s rep for comment on her statement to Page Six and has not yet received a response.
And how are the twin flames doing? Megan and the rocker have been photographed since the scandal began, leaving an office building on February 13, via the Daily Mail and again on Valentine’s Day in the car, with MGK at the wheel and Megan with the shotgun.
E! News has reached out to Megan and Machine Gun Kelly’s reps for comment on the breakup rumors, and has heard nothing.
