The Suns have new owners after Mat Ishbia bought the franchise. Lakers legend Magic Johnson took to Twitter to respond to the news.
The five-time NBA champion revealed that he spoke to fellow Michigan State Spartan fellow Ishbia and says he’s confident he’ll bring good things to Phoenix and the entire NBA.
“I had a great call with Mat Ishbia, a fellow Spartan, congratulating him on his purchase of the Phoenix Suns. He will do great things not just for the Suns organization but for the league as a whole. All other 29 NBA teams better watch out because Mat is a winner!” Johnson tweeted.
