Kate Moss’ little sister isn’t holding back.
Lottie Moss didn’t mince words as she shared how she feels about the constant conversation about nepotism in Hollywood on Twitter, which was recently boosted by a December 19 cover of New York Magazine, which explores its depths and the Criticism called jealousy.
“I’m so sick of people blaming nepotism for not being rich and famous or successful,” says the 24-year-old tweeted Dec. 21. “Of course it’s not fair that people who come from famous families get on their feet because of that, but you know what? Life isn’t fair – if you put your mind to one thing, you can achieve anything!”
She added, “So instead of negatively judging other people’s success, try to create your own!”
After Twitter users pointed out that Lottie’s perspective comes as someone who has benefited from nepotism as a supermodel’s sister, she defended herself, writing, “Did I ever say that nepotism isn’t a huge benefit? Obviously it is, but if you put it on and you don’t have that advantage, it’s not okay to berate people on social media who do.”
