The Brooklyn Nets say big man Nic Claxton was their best defense — and one they can’t replace or do without.
“He guards multiple positions for us…comes on the weak side, blocks shots, applies rim pressure and rebounds,” said Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn. “The games he doesn’t play, we miss him; it puts a lot of pressure on other guys – there isn’t anyone else on our team who can do the things Nic can do.”
