Daniil Medvedev maintained his perfect record against Felix Auger-Aliassime in style at Friday’s ABN AMRO Open, where the sixth-seeded defending champion defeated the defending champion 6-2, 6-4 to advance to the semifinals.
Medvedev, 27, was relentless from the baseline in the 83-minute quarterfinal in Rotterdam, hitting just five unforced errors in the two sets to Auger-Aliassimes 20.
