Two days after his death, his mother took to social media to express her grief. “Family and friends, thank you for all the love, prayers and encouragement,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories. “Please know that I see all messages, texts, posts and phone calls. I can’t use words at the moment. Please know I will get in touch when I can.”
Connie turned to her son and said, “Stephen Laurel, your mother loves you to eternity and beyond.”
