Celtic’s Josip Juranovic (centre) helped Croatia to third place at the World Cup
Celtic have not been approached about potential January sales, says manager Ange Postecoglou.
Speculation has increased over Josip Juranovic’s future, with the full-back impressive for semi-finalists Croatia at the World Cup.
Stephen Welsh has also been linked to a departure from the Masters.
“We didn’t have any offers for any player,” said Postecoglou, who has already recruited Alastair Johnston and Yuki Kobayashi for next month.
“If there’s a problem or if players have things ahead of them about their future, I’m sure they’ll come to me and [chief executive] Michael [Nicholson] will speak to their representatives.
“But nothing at the moment. Zero. Zip. Nada. Nothing going on.”
Croatia stunned Brazil en route to a third-place finish in Qatar, with Postecoglou saying Juranovic “had a great World Cup”.
“He was brilliant. I thank him and now he has a memory that will last forever,” he added.
The 27-year-old was signed from Legia Warsaw for £2million in the summer of 2020 and an interest has been credited with big clubs in Spain and England.
“He has a bit of free time but he will get back to training early next week and be ready,” Postecoglou added.
“People can talk about offers, but I can’t spend my time chasing shadows with what’s in the press every morning, or I would spend all day talking to players.”
