Wordle is a free daily word puzzle game owned and operated by The New York Times. Players have six chances to guess a five-letter word. Each guess uses a thin box. to indicate which characters are correct or incorrect The letters on the game’s keyboard are hung in the same order to help players trace their guessed letters. The puzzles are updated globally at midnight local time and the solutions will be the same for all players one day. Worddle was created by former Reddit engineer Josh Wardle and his partner to play with. Before publishing worldwide in November 2021, the Times published with Wardle in early 2022.
