Bode and Morgan Miller’s winter break has gotten off to a scary start.
On December 20, Morgan revealed on social media that one of hers and the Olympic skier’s twin sons, Asher, 3, had suffered a febrile seizure, a comma that is a spasm caused by fever and often an infection, according to the Mayo Clinic.
“Life is always on the razor’s edge and it’s nothing we’re not unfamiliar with,” Morgan wrote on her Instagram Stories, alongside a photo of her son in hospital lying on Bode. “Yesterday Asher had a febrile seizure that scared us almost to death.
In a subsequent post, Morgan shared how the situation that unfolded so close to the holidays made her think about what matters most.
