At the end of Ant-Man and the Wasp, before they’re dusted, Scott goes to the Quantum Realm to get materials for Ghost to survive. Hank, Janet and Hope are watching. Janet even gives him some tips! Everything seems fine until Thanos. But if Janet was so scared of the Quantum Realm and Kang, why would Scott even go there?
The answer here depends on how literal you want to get. Surely the real answer is that the Marvel Studios team hadn’t conceived of Quantumania yet, so there was no reason to make it an issue. That reality aside, maybe Scott didn’t go down deep enough to alert Kang, or Janet felt it was a short journey that no one would notice. You can’t say for sure, but that’s our idea.
